Hi beauties, welcome back to my blog!

Hi beauties, welcome back to my blog!

I've been revamping my makeup and hair collection a lot recently. So please bare with me as to why I haven't done any beauty or d-i-y tutorials in forever. But in the meanwhile, you can benefit from my purchases with REVIEWS!!! Just think of me as your personal guinea pig.

So let me tell you about this new product from L'Oreal. I know...L'Oreal for African American natural hair? Yes! Although technically the product I will be reviewing is for colored hair. They do have one for curly hair along with another for dry/damaged hair. It's the EverPure Cleansing Balm. Now L'Oreal has a co-wash friendly product line for different hair types and problems.

First off, this product is great. I have naturally thick, curly, and dry hair. With that said, I also have a burgundy permanent dye in that just won't budge. So I'm embracing it! I love co-washes as it's great for dry hair. This balm saturates my hair so well that detangling my curls are a breeze! Also, my burgundy curls have been glistening in the sunlight.

Second, it has a PUMP!!! Which is perfect for the shower. No more squeezing the bottle and it slips out of your hand. No more scooping then dropping the open tub on the bathtub floor. Just pump and done!

Third, it's sulfate and silicone free.

Fourth, my hair feels and smells ahhhhhmazing.

I would definitely recommend this cleansing balm. You can find the EverPure Cleansing Balms at your local drugstores, Ulta, and Amazon.

Hi Beauties, welcome back to my blog! I have a lot of things planned for this blog so stay tuned!

Recently my skin has been going haywire lately. When I say I'm just extremely fed up with it, I AM! Between the excessive dry patches to the acne scarring. Oh, and don't get me started on the break outs either. I'm just so over it all. With that being said, I've been trying any and everything lately. Just trying to find products that work for me and to create my own personal skin care regimen.

My most recent trial was with this skincare company called Valentia. I tried to incorporate their Detoxifying Clay Mask and Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub. They provided so many "benefits" and certain ingredients that I know works. So I gave it a go. Want to hear about my experience? Keep on reading...

With ingredients like aloe vera, jojoba beads, olive and avocado butter, the scrub did sound very hydrating and soothing. Once the container is opened you can tell! It has a strong scent. I can't put my finger on what exactly, but it's similar to incense the street of New York. It has a jello consistency and the beads are very fine. Maybe too fine. As I began to scrub my face using the product it started to sting a few seconds in. Immediately I stopped and my face just felt like it was heating up with slight stinging. It wasn't unbearable, but I wasn't expecting this to happen. I also feel as though the beads are too fine to even get a good exfoliation. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this product.

The clay mask on the other hand, I enjoyed. Despite not really knowing what exactly the ingredients were first hand. Luckily, Google can be your best friend at times. It's a kaolin clay that's supposed to remove dirt and oil along with hydrating your skin. Unlike the scrub, it smells great. You can definitely smell the cranberries. Again, while using this product, expect a little stinging sensation. I can tell you though that it's no where as bad as the scrub. This scrub I can continue to use, but maybe every other week because masks are definitely not a dry skin's friend. Every time I use it my skin has that "refreshed" feeling. I would definitely recommend you trying this one out for yourself.

Everyone's skin is different and reacts differently. So keep in mind, my experience may not be yours.

Till Next Time Beauties! xo

Hi beauties, welcome back to my blog!

So I've recently discovered a new accessories online store. I heard about it from Leesha, XSparkage, on YouTube. MISS A has everything from jewelry to nail art accessories. Which includes cosmetics, lashes, charm bracelets, etc. Best part about it all is... IT'S ALL ONE DOLLAR! Yes! You heard me right. Shipping is also a flat rate of $3.95. So that means it's not a minimum purchase price like wholesale jewelry websites. I gave myself a $20 budget just to try out some pieces. I didn't want to spend too much or too little. I wanted a good amount of items. I ended up buying 18 pieces, although I didn't showcase them all on my blog. I will link to them all below.

Below are the other items I purchased that wasn't pictured.

Geometric Cuff Bracelet (wouldn't recommend looks like plastic)
Eyelashes (EL747XSEL048EL00S3)
